The Minuet in G major is a keyboard piece included in the Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach and often attributed to Johann Sebastian Bach (BWV Anh. 114), but it is now usually attributed to Christian Petzold.

Christian Petzold (1677 - July 2, 1733) was a German composer and organist. He was born in Konigstein in 1677 and died in Dresden in 1733, where he was an organist.

However although scholarship, particularly on the part of Hans-Joachim Schulze, has pointed to Petzold nobody knows if Christian Petzold or Bach was the one who composed the Minuet in G.
