Welcome to My Guitar Corner

Hello, my name is Paul Ionescu and I'm an IT professional of Romanian origin living in Canada. In my spare time I try to escape the daily war with technology by listening to classical music and playing the guitar.

Lately I decided to become somewhat more serious about my musical hobby so I have been spending several hours every evening studying some more advanced pieces, resurrecting some of my own compositions from teenage years and driving my wife crazy.

I decided to share these creations with the world through this site. Every time I complete a musical project I record a video and I post it here. You can find all available projects on the left hand side.

For each project I will try to attach, depending on availability, the musical score together with guitar tabs and a better quality MP3.

Latest Project - Prelude to a Dream

Lately I've been getting my son to fall asleep to this piece. Hopefully not a bad thing :)

I decided against putting the effort into editing the score for this piece unless there''s more than ten people requesting it.
